SHIMLA-11th November, 2024-Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri released the book Jalrashi written by KV Mohan Kumar. KV Kumar was a member of the literary organization Bhasha Samanvaya Vedi Kerala and has compiled 24 stories in this book originally in Malayalam and translated them into Hindi.

On this occasion, a 20-member delegation from Bhasha Samanvaya Vedi led by President Dr. Arasu paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Chief Minister.

Bhasha Samanvaya Vedi was a cultural literary organization that promotes cultural harmony and linguistic friendships through translations, encouraging Indian, world literature exchange and support young translators. The organization has also translated Himachali stories into Pahadi and Hindi as well as from Hindi into Malayalam.

Expressing gratitude to the members of Bhasha Samanvaya Vedi, the Deputy Chief Minister said that such initiatives help promote linguistic and cultural exchanges. He commended the efforts of organization which would strengthen bonds between languages through cultural work.

He said that Himachal Pradesh has a rich language, culture and cultural events like the International Kullu Dussehra, Mandi Shivratri and Chamba's Minjar Fair play a pivotal role in national and international cultural exchange and the state government was making all possible efforts to promote it in a bigger way.
