Dehradun 15 March, 2021:-To promote adventure tourism and ongoing Kumbh Mela at Haridwar, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) has initiated a campaign to invite devotees and adventure lovers from all over the nation.
Under this campaign attractive pictures of Kumbh were put up in various spots of Delhi, including hoardings showcasing adventure sports in Uttarakhand. Earlier, hoardings of the International Yoga Festival were also put up in the various selected spots of Delhi.
Secretary, Tourism Uttarakhand Mr. Dilip Javalkar said, "Kumbh brings the country in a thread of cultural, religious unity. A large number of devotees reach Kumbh to take the holy dip.
The state government has provided coolness to the devotees visiting Kumbh in the negative report of the ATPCR investigation, following the guidelines of the Kovid-19 embroidery. Devotees coming to Kumbh Snan should carry a pleasant message without any inconvenience; it is the responsibility of all of us.
As part of the campaign, large hoardings are put up by Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) in Dehradun, Jolly Grant Airport, Haridwar, Pantnagar Airport, Delhi on selected spots like Jantar Mantar Road, CP Palika Bazar, Janpath Road, Mandi House Metro Station, Calamus Fort Road Delhi, Sarojini Nagar, and Gwalior Potteries. The message of grand Kumbh and open thrilling sports activities is being conveyed to people through hoardings so that tourists can reach Uttarakhand and become part of the celebration."
