Derabassi, 16 May, 2021: Sant Nirankari Mission organises Blood Donation Camp at the local Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan. With the blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, 125 devotees, including women donated blood during this camp. This is the 15th annual camp of Derabassi branch.
The camp was inaugurated by Smt. Kailash Rani Ji and Smt. Sonia Chopra Ji. On this occasion, they said that Sant Nirankari Mission organises blood donation camps every year, but during the Coronavirus pandemic, the significance of these camps is even more.
Shri K.K. Kashyap Ji, Zonal incharge, Chandigarh, said that due to the pandemic, the need for blood has increased manifold . He added that keeping in view of the current situation, Covid-19 Care Centres are also being set up in various parts of the country, . Especially during this time of grave difficulty, the Mission strives to work toward the welfare of humanity and considers it as its ultimate task.
On this occasion, Derabassi branch Sanyojak Shri Subhash Chopra Ji said that Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj has been devoting every single second to work towards the welfare of humanity during this time. As per the guidance of the Satguru, the teaching of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that, "human blood should flow in veins, not in drains," has been realized truly with these blood donation camps. Under the guidance of Satguru Mata Ji, Covid-19 Care Centres have been set up throughout the country in several Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawans. The Mission is also contributing to the Vaccination drives. Last year Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan was also converted into quarantine centres, where quarantined people were also provided food by the Mission.
The blood donation camp today was organised under the guidance of Dr. Nipun Prinja, PGI, with a 12-member team.
Every measure was taken to conduct this camp with strict covid appropriate protocols, including wearing a mask at all times, maintaining social distance, and using sanitizer and washing hands frequently.
