Maharaja Agrasen University, Barotiwala, Baddi hosted an ICSSR-sponsored National Conference delving into the theme of "Sustainable Development Goals: Progress, Issues & Challenges" on 16th March 2024. Conference brought together esteemed scholars, experts, and stakeholders of Management, Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, and Applied Sciences to discuss and deliberate upon the critical aspects of sustainable development.
The conference commenced with a warm welcome note by Prof. A K Vashisht, Dean Research and Director, School of Management, Maharaja Agrasen University, setting the tone for the insightful discussions that followed.
Keynote speaker Dr. P J Singh, Managing Director, Tynor Orthotics shared invaluable perspectives on Sustainable Development Goals, initiating the dialogue on the crucial topic. The event also saw esteemed speakers including Prof. J K Goswami, Professor (Physics) UIET, Panjab University, Chd.
Mr. Rajnish Sharma, Chief General Manager, Haryana State Co-operative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd was chief guest of inaugural session. Mr. Sanjay Bansal, Senior Advocate, Punjab and Haryana High Court. Prof. Manish Jindal, Director State Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nilokheri who all contributed their insights on the progress, issues, and challenges surrounding sustainable development goals.
Throughout the conference, more than 250 participants had the opportunity to present their papers during the technical sessions, enriching the discourse with diverse perspectives and research findings. Dignitaries released six books covering a spectrum of disciplines including Management, Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, and Applied Sciences.
The valedictory session, presided over by Prof. Manish Jindal, Chief Guest, emphasized the importance of sustainable development goals in shaping our collective future.

Dr. Shweta Sharma, Organizing Secretary, presented a comprehensive Rapporteur Report summarizing the key discussions and insights shared throughout the conference.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants, acknowledging their valuable contributions to the conference.
