Ludhiana 30 August 2024-The Vety and Livestock Innovation and Incubation Foundation (VLIIF), section 8 company of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University has marked a significant advancement in the field of veterinary and livestock sciences with the formal signing of incubation agreements with seven emerging startups. This agreement underscores a strategic effort to foster innovation and support pioneering ventures in inclusive technology. Dr Inderjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor said that seven startups—Chimertech Pvt. Ltd, Agristar Animal Solution Pvt. Ltd, JustBark, Bioadaptis, B. G. Innovatech OPC Private Limited, Grobiz and Bharti International Company have joined VLIIF’s incubation program.

Dr Singh informed that VLIIF’s incubation program is designed to accelerate the growth of early-stage companies and drive innovation within the veterinary and livestock sectors. By joining the VLIIF incubator program, these startups will have access to a comprehensive support system, including mentorship from industry experts, access to cutting-edge research facilities, and opportunities for networking and collaboration. He said that today’s event represents a pivotal moment in our mission to catalyze innovation within the livestock and dairy sectors.

Dr. R.S. Sethi, Director of VLIIF and Principal Investigator of Project NIDHI inclusive TBI signed the agreements on behalf of the foundation, marking a critical milestone in VLIIF’s ongoing efforts to support cutting-edge solutions in the animal health and dairy industries. He said that the formalization of these agreements highlights VLIIF’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of industry leaders and reinforces its role as a catalyst for transformative change in the veterinary and livestock domains. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. P.S. Brar, Director of VLIIF and Director of Extension Education, along with Dr. Sunil Kumar Khatkar, Dr. Harsh Panwar, and Dr. Manvesh Kumar Sihag. Dr Brar emphasized the significance of these collaborations in driving agricultural innovation and said that as these startups embark on their incubation journey with VLIIF and Vet Varsity, we aim to empower them to effect meaningful change and achieve substantial impact.
