Action against illicit liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Suresh Kumar R/o # 389 Small flats Mauli Jagran Chandigarh from Tubwell No. 59 Village Makhan Majra Chandigarh and recovered 52 Nips of country made liqour from his possession. A case FIR No. 76, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Later on, accused bailout. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No 168 U/S 281,125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Harwinder Singh R/o Village Nayagaon Mohali (PB) against unknown vehicle sped away after hit to complainant bike no PB11AR-5563 from Sector 16/17 light point on 13.09.2024. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
