NEW DELHI, 20 December 2024:The Government of Jamaica takes another significant step in enhancing its accessibility and, hence, its potential to grow the international tourism market by introducing a new non-stop flight from Heathrow, London to Montego Bay, as stated by the Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism – a giant leap for the tourism industry of Jamaica. This direct flight path directly targets the British and Indian clientele and will help boost the number of travellers to Jamaica.
This direct connection addresses the increasing demand among consumers for convenient travel and offers tourists a finer option to discover some of the best beaches, cultural experiences, and luxury resorts on the island. The service launches in Summer 2025. This new service would dramatically cut travel time, thus opening accessibility to the Caribbean island-from leisure seekers to business travellers, with no hassle.
