CHANDIGARH POLICE BRIEF OF CASES DATED-25.03.2026

One person arrested in disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant.

Chandigarh Police arrested Deepak Kumar R/o Plot No. 57, Village Kajheri Sector-52 Chandigarh Manager of Hotel Nobel, Village Kajheri Chandigarh during checking found servant verification of hotel staff not done. A Case FIR No. 44 U/S 223 has been registered in Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh accused person later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Public place drinking

Chandigarh Police arrested Rakesh R/o # 4174, Sector-56 Chandigarh from near taxi stand sector-48 Chandigarh on 24-03-2026 while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A case FIR No.21 U/S 68(1)-B PP Act. & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 49 Chandigarh. During the investigation accused person later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress

One person arrested in Accident case.

A case FIR No. 49 U/S 281, 125A, 106(1) BNS has been registered in Police Station Maloya Chandigarh on the complaint of Sukhwinder Singh R/o # 81, Village Buterla, Sector-41B Chandigarh against Driver of Bus No CH-01TB-2062 namely Gurinder Singh R/o Village Hasanpur, Ps- Khuni Majra, Distt. Mohali Punjab, who hit the complainant's son's motorcycle no. CH-01AR 3025 near # 5992, Madrasi Colony Maloya on 24-03-2026, victim Mohan Singh sustained injuries got admitted brought dead to GMSH-16 Chandigarh. During the investigation the accused person was arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.
