Two persons arrested in Ndps Act.

Chandigarh Police arrested Rajesh @ Nata R/o # 379 Nic Manimajra Chandigarh from jhuggi area New Indira Colony on 26-07-2026 and recovered 5.58 gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No.65 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station It Park Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Ricky @ Chhoti R/o # 1288, Sector-52 Chandigarh from forest area Near Govt. High School, Sector-53 Chandigarh on 26-07-2026 and recovered 10.8 gram of heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 117 U/S 21 Ndps Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh . Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft case

A case FIR No.100 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ranjit Isngh R/o # 1527, Sector-34 Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away manhole covers from near complainant’s house in last few days. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Voluntarily causing hurt

A case FIR No.118 U/S 126, 115, 351, 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of Gautam R/O # 2034, Sector-52 Chandigarh against Krishna, Parmod & Puchi they attacked on complainant and his friend Vipul beaten them in Sector-52 on 24-07-2026 both victim sustained injuries got admitted to civil hospital Sector-45 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
