Chandigarh, August 1:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has appealed to citizens to participate in large numbers in the live telecast of the launch of "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyaan", to be addressed by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi, on 2nd August, 2026 at 10:30 AM.

Citizens will be able to watch the Prime Minister's address live on LED screens installed at all Community Centres under the jurisdiction of MC Chandigarh.

The live screening has been organised to enable people from all parts of the city to witness the launch of the nationwide campaign and join the collective resolve for a drug-free India.

The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has urged residents, especially youth, students, community organisations, and the general public, to gather at their nearest Community Centre and watch the live telecast of the Hon'ble Prime Minister's address.

The campaign aims to inspire citizens to actively contribute towards the vision of a Nasha Mukt Bharat and Viksit Bharat.
