Chandigarh, August 7: A significant political development took place in Chandigarh's business community as Sardar Charanjeev Singh, a five-time President of the Chandigarh Vyapar Mandal and its current President, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. During a programme held at the BJP Chandigarh State Office, Sector-33 'Kamalam', BJP Chandigarh State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra formally inducted him into the party by presenting him with the BJP stole.
Welcoming Sardar Charanjeev Singh into the party, Jatinder Pal Malhotra said that his vast experience in social service and the business community would further strengthen the BJP organization. He expressed confidence that his active contribution would play an important role in safeguarding the interests of traders and effectively raising their concerns.
Sardar Charanjeev Singh expressed his faith in the policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Central Government's initiatives for the welfare of the trading community. He said that he would work with full dedication to strengthen the organization and effectively represent the voice of the business community.
Present on the occasion were BJP Haryana's newly appointed State Vice President Latika Sharma, BJP Chandigarh Cell & Department In-charge Shakti Prakash Devshali, Co-In-charge Ramesh Sahor, Trade Cell In-charge Mohit Sood, Trade Cell Convener Baljinder Gujral, along with a large number of traders and BJP workers.
