Four (04) arrested under NDPS ACT
A Case FIR No. 102 u/s 27 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 11 against Parveen @ Puri was apprehended near Rally Ground, Sec-25, Chandigarh, while allegedly consuming a suspected narcotic substance using aluminium foil. Aluminium foil paper, ₹10 currency note and a lighter were recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 103 u/s 27 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 11 against Vicky @ Chela was apprehended near Rally Ground, Sec-25, Chandigarh, while allegedly consuming a suspected narcotic substance using aluminium foil. Aluminium foil paper, ₹10 currency note and a lighter were recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 156 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 31 against Raj was apprehended near the jungle area, BSF HQ Turn, Petrol Pump, Sec-31, Chandigarh, and 8.02 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 153 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 39 on the complaint of SI Kuldip Singh 1792/CHG. Vicky was apprehended near Kachha Rasta, Village Palsora, Sec-55, Chandigarh, on 11-09-2026 at about 1:20 PM, and 22.52 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Three arrested drinking at public place under PP Act
A Case FIR No. 44 u/s 68(1)(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station 19 against Pardeep Singh who was apprehended near the public toilet, Sec-18/C, Chandigarh, while consuming liquor at a public place and creating nuisance. He was arrested and later released on bail.
A Case FIR No. 45 u/s 68(1)(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station 19 against Dharminder Kumar and Manoj Kumar were apprehended near the public toilet, Sec-20/C, Chandigarh, while consuming liquor at a public place and creating nuisance. Both accused were arrested and later released on bail.
Three arrested under Arms Act
A Case FIR No. 48 u/s 191(2), 191(3), 125, 351(3), 61(2) BNS & 25, 27-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station 49 on the complaint of Raj Kumar R/o #2721/2, EWS Colony, Sec-49/C, Chandigarh. The complainant alleged that Ajay @ Ajju, Vijay, Sanjiv @ Noni, Ritesh @ Haddi, Jaikant, Srikant and others, armed with swords, axes, daggers and sticks, threatened him and Ajay fired a gunshot in the air. Two accused were arrested and are in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 132 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran against Ravi @ Khatri was apprehended near the Railway Recruitment Board building, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, on 11-09-2026 at about 1:30 AM, and one button-operated foldable knife was recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Theft
A Case FIR No. 106 u/s 305, 331(4) BNS has been registered at Police Station 03 on the complaint of Jasjeet Singh R/o #171, Sec-8/A, Chandigarh. An unknown person(s) stole two diamond rings, four gold bangles and silver utensils during the intervening night of 08/09-09-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 104 u/s 303(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station 11 on the complaint of Ranjit Singh R/o #3246, Sec-24/D, Chandigarh. Unknown person(s) stole a bicycle from outside the complainant's house on 11-09-2026 . Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 76 u/s 305, 331(4) BNS has been registered at Police Station SRP on the complaint of a lady R/o Khudda Jassu, Chandigarh.
Unknown person(s) stole a gold necklace, mangalsutra, gold ring, nose pin, silver anklet, silver bangles and cash of about ₹1 lakh during the intervening night of 09/10-09-2026. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Voluntarily Causing Hurt
A Case FIR No. 101 u/s 115(2), 118(1), 333, 351(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station 11 on the complaint of a lady, R/o Sec-15/C, Chandigarh. Robin allegedly attacked the complainant with a coconut-cutting chopper on her head on 10-09-2026. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GMSH-16. Investigation of the case is in progress.
ACCIDENT
A Case FIR No. 133 u/s 106(1), 132(A), 281 BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran on the complaint of a lady R/o Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh. An unknown bike rider allegedly sped away after hitting the complainant's pedestrian husband near her house on 09-09-2026. The victim sustained injuries, was admitted to GMCH-32 and later expired during treatment. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 151 u/s 125(A), 281 BNS has been registered at Police Station 36 on the complaint of CT Ashok Kumar 1599/CP.
An unknown bike rider allegedly sped away after hitting two persons near Petrol Pump, Sec-42, towards Kajheri Chowk, Chandigarh, on 10-09-2026 at about 11:00 PM. The injured persons were admitted to hospital. Investigation of this case is in progress.
