A case FIR No. 119 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 11 on the complaint/statement of ASI Sudhir Singh 2175/CHG against Tajinder Kumar @ Choclate S/o Surender Kumar, R/o #3583, Sector 25-D, Chandigarh, aged 18 years, who was apprehended from in front of Rally Ground, Sector 25-C, on 19-09-2026 at about 06:20 PM and 21.85 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up.
A case FIR No. 120 u/s 27 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 26 on the complaint/statement of ASI Rohit Kumar 1903/CHG, PP-BDC, against Raj Kumar S/o Rajinder Singh, R/o #38, PH-2, BDC, Sector 26, Chandigarh, aged 25 years, who was apprehended behind Sant Kabir Ashram, BDC, Sector 26, Chandigarh, on 19-09-2026 at about 07:30 PM while consuming an intoxicant using foil paper, with a Rs. 10/- currency note and lighter recovered from his possession. Accused was arrested and is in police lock-up.

A case FIR No. 165 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station 31 on the complaint/statement of HC Sushil 6406/CP against Sumit @ Sumita S/o Sattan, R/o #1063, PH-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, aged 29 years, who was apprehended from Sector 47-C/D turn on 19-09-2026 at about 07:02 PM and one Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up.
A case FIR No. 120 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station 11 on the complaint/statement of ASI Dilbar Singh 2038/CHG against Deepak S/o Jai Kishan, R/o #2117, Sector 25, Chandigarh, aged 34 years, who was apprehended near the under bridge, Sector 11/15, Chandigarh, on 19-09-2026 at about 08:15 PM and one sharp Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up.

A case FIR No. 161 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station 36 on the complaint/statement of ASI Ashok Kumar 3485/CP, PP-43, against Kuldeep Sharma S/o Late Om Parkash Sharma, R/o H. No. 65, near Hanuman Mandir, Govind Nagar, Jhampur, Mohali, aged 56 years, who was apprehended along with his M/W car No. CH03 L 9615 near District Court, Sector 43, Chandigarh, on 19-09-2026 and 42 bottles of whisky were recovered from his possession. Accused was arrested and is in police lock-up.

A case FIR No. 53 u/s 68(1)(B) PP Act, 2007 and 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station 49 on the complaint/statement of HC Jagdeep 785/CP against Kamaljit Singh S/o Dhanna Singh, R/o Village Dharamgarh, Mohali (PB), aged 36 years, who was apprehended from Pushpak 1st Society, Sector 48, Chandigarh, on 19-09-2026 at about 05:45 PM while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place. Accused was later bailed out.
ACCIDENT
A case FIR No. 146 u/s 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station 34 on the complaint of Manish S/o Vijay Kumar, R/o #1080, Housing Board Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, regarding an unknown auto driver who hit the complainant's vehicle No. CH01 DA 8876 near Sector 32/33-D Road on 10-09-2026 at about 04:00 PM. Sapna D/o Dawa Ram and her friend Anshu @ Antima D/o Vijay Mahajan sustained injuries and were admitted to GMCH-32. No arrest has been made so far.
A case FIR No. 118 u/s 281, 125(A) BNS and 185 MV Act, 1988 has been registered at Police Station 11 on the complaint of Irfan S/o Iqbal, R/o #737, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, regarding an accident involving a Balero car No. PB06 R 8288, which hit the complainant's car No. CH01 AY 3634. A case FIR No. 124 u/s 103(1) BNS has been registered at Police Station Maloya on the complaint of Pardeep Singh S/o Sukhwinder Singh, R/o #3480, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh, regarding the murder of Vijay Kumar S/o Inder Kumar, R/o Ward No. 06, Kurali (PB), aged 31 years, near Bagia Nursery, Sector 38-West, Chandigarh, on 19-09-2026 at about 08:11 AM. No arrest has been made so far.
THEFT
A case FIR No. 132 u/s 305(C) BNS has been registered at Police Station 17 on the complaint of Ravneet Singh Joshi S/o Mohindu Singh Joshi, R/o #3280, Sector 35-D, Chandigarh, regarding theft by an unknown person who stole one choker set, earrings, one mobile phone and cash amounting to Rs. 40,000/- from his silver Brezza car No. CH01 BG 3280 after breaking the rear-left door glass, while parked opposite Neelam Theatre near SCO No. 6, Sector 17, Chandigarh. No arrest has been made so far.
