Chandigarh, January 30: ‘Like different types of flowers in a garden, all Indians, be from any religion, caste, creed or colour, we all are one, belong to one mother India’, was the message young students of Peace Club of Alliance International School, Banur, in association with volunteers of Yuvsatta-an NGO gave today to commemorate martyrdom day of Mahatma Gandhi at Sukhna Lake.

‘Over 100 students of the School participated in the initiative. Which culminated with a ‘Candle Light Vigil’ for Unity and peace in the country’, shared Aruna Bhardwaj, Director of the School.

 Pramod Sharma, Coordinator of  Yuvsatta added that they are running a ‘One India Campaign’ with support of tricity Schools truly representing the ideals of national unity and communal harmony which Gandhiji preached and practiced and now it’s for all of us to live up to his ideals of love, care & compassion for fellow human beings & mother earth.
