Mahendergarh, 21.03.25-The Department of Physics and Astrophysics at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh marked a significant milestone under the mentorship of Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, with the inauguration of its newly established Computational Physics Laboratory. The prestigious event was graced by his presence as he officially inaugurated the facility. In his remarks, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar commended the department for its dedication to integrating cutting-edge technology into academic and research pursuits, highlighting the lab’s potential to empower students with advanced computational skills.
The occasion was further honored by the presence of Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar, whose support and guidance have been instrumental in facilitating such progressive initiatives at the university. Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Head of the Department, expressed her sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar for their unwavering support in facilitating the setup of this advanced computing space. She acknowledged the collective efforts of the faculty and staff, highlighting the key contributions of Dr. Jaswant Kumar, Dr. Ramovatar, and Mr. Amit Sheoran (ICT Section) in making the initiative a success. The new facility is expected to provide students and researchers with essential resources to explore complex physical systems and contribute to cutting-edge advancements in the field.
