Mahendergarh, 21.03.25-The Internal Quality Assurance Cell in collaboration with Department of Microbiology & Department of Biochemistry at Central university of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized an expert lecture on "Career Opportunities & Recent Developments in Cellular and Developmental Biology" on 21 March 2025. The session was aimed at providing students, researchers, and faculty members with valuable insights into the latest advancements in the field and the diverse career prospects available in the domain of cellular and developmental biology. Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, addressed the audience, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering research and innovation in biological sciences and explaint the wise use of AI in acknowledging the opportunities and Institutes at National and International level.
Prof. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Dean of SIAS, addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of cellular and recent developmental biology in modern scientific research and the career developmentand skills to be incorporated. Molecular, cellular and Development Biology University of Boulder, USA then took the stage and delivered an engaging talk on recent advancements in cellular and developmental biology, along with various career prospects in this domain. He explained few inspiring scientists of Indian origin like C.V Raman, H.J Bhabha, V.Sarabhai, J.C Bose, M. S Swaminathan etc. and discussed their contributions and inventions . Following the Vice-Chancellor's address, a felicitation ceremony was held, where the organizing committee honored Dr. Ravinder Kumar for his valuable contributions.
