Jalandhar,20.04.25- In a remarkable confluence of brilliance, leadership, and civic participation, Lovely Professional University (LPU) emerged as the Overall Champion at the 3rd AIU National Women’s Student Parliament 2024-25, held in Odisha and organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The event brought together 200+ top student representatives from more than 30+ universities across India. LPU’s team made an indelible mark, becoming the only university to secure four of the six top honors, a record-setting feat at this premier forum.

Representing LPU were Vidushi Singh as Prime Minister, Swastika Shree B as President, and Diya Tomar as Whip. These students captivated the assembly with their eloquence and insight as they addressed complex national themes such as the Uniform Civil Code, the Telecommunication Bill, and One Nation One Election. Their exceptional performance earned them top individual awards wherein Diya Tomar was honored with both Best Whip and Best Speaker, while Swastika Shree B was named Best President.

On this remarkable achievement, Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of LPU, and Vice- Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu congratulated and encouraged the team. Dr. Rashmi Mittal emphasized that LPU continues to lead in every sphere; academics, leadership, and inclusive growth and is committed to providing equal support and opportunities to all students, regardless of gender. This victory exemplifies how empowered young women can shape conversations and influence change on a national level.
