MAHENDERGARH, 24.04.25-The Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development at the Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized a thought-provoking workshop titled “Environmental Sampling: Precision Measurement of Particulate Pollutants”, the event drew enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and environmental professionals.
Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Dean of the School of Lifelong Learning and Convenor of the workshop presents welcome address. Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor emphasized the growing relevance of environmental monitoring in today’s rapidly urbanizing and industrializing world. He highlighted the need for such academic platforms to equip youth with practical, research-based skills in environmental sciences.
The keynote address was delivered by the distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Era Upadhyay, Associate Professor at Amity University Rajasthan. Dr. Upadhyay shared valuable insights on advanced techniques for sampling and precisely measuring particulate pollutants, which are critical for assessing air quality and ensuring public health safety. Her presentation offered a blend of scientific rigor and field applicability, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees.
The workshop was a collaborative effort involving coordinators Mr. Pradeep K. Chauhan and Dr. Sunil Kumar, coordinators and organizing team members Ms. Shalu Saini, Ms. Naseeb Phogat, and Ms. Pinky Kantiwal. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sunil Kumar.
