CHANDIGARH, 22.04.25-Gurukul Global School conducted its Annual Investiture Ceremony with great pride and enthusiasm. The event marked a significant occasion as the newly elected Student Council members were officially entrusted with their responsibilities for the academic session 2025–2026. The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Mr. Vivek Atray, former IAS officer, motivational speaker, author, and a philanthropist, as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were President Ma’am, Ms. Neena Setya, Managing Director Sir, Mr. Praveen Setya, Director Sir, Mr. Devraj Setya, and Principal Ms. Urvashi Kakkar.
The ceremony commenced with a solemn school prayer, followed by the ceremonial pinning of badges to the council members, symbolizing the formal delegation of authority and responsibility. The oath-taking ceremony was a key highlight, during which the student leaders pledged to fulfill their duties with sincerity, integrity and dedication to the school community.
In his address, Mr. Vivek Atray emphasized the true essence of leadership-leading by example, serving with humility, and staying grounded in strong values. He encouraged the students to be changemakers who lead with courage and compassion. Principal Ms. Urvashi Kakkar congratulated the newly appointed leaders and inspired them to take initiative, uphold the values of the school, and contribute positively to every sphere of school life.
The event concluded on an inspiring and hopeful note as the choir beautifully sang the house song and the new Student Council stepped into their roles with a clear vision, renewed motivation, and a strong sense of responsibility, ready to represent the voice of their peers and uphold the proud traditions of Gurukul Global School.
