MAHENDERGARH, 22.04.25-The Department of Civil Engineering, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organised a three-day Workshop and Hands-on Training on AutoCAD Software. The workshop has drawn active participation from civil engineering students eager to develop their skills in computer-aided design and drafting.

The event is being held under the patronage of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University. In his message, he r highlighted the importance of such workshops in developing students’ industrial competencies and aligning them with the demands of the modern technological world.

The sessions are being led by the Guest Speaker, Er. Anil Dhiman, Assistant Professor at Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology. Through his expert guidance, students are gaining hands-on experience in AutoCAD, including 2D drafting, layout planning, and introductory 3D modeling. His engaging teaching style is helping bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

The workshop is being convened by Prof. Vikas Garg, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology and Head, Department of Civil Engineering, along with Prof. Bhaskar Das, Professor in the department. Their vision and leadership have played a pivotal role in organizing this skill-focused program.

Dr. Ranbir Singh and Dr. Neeraj, Coordinators of the workshop, along with the organizing faculty members, are actively supporting the event to ensure a smooth and impactful learning experience for all participants.
