CHANDIGARH,15.07.22--CII formally presents the recommendations for the New Industrial Policy, 2022 to the Government of Punjab in an interaction held at CII premises, Chandigarh.

Mr Amit Thapar, Chairman, CII Punjab remarked that the primary goal of the incentives is to make the State a preferred investment destination both domestically and globally. He also mentioned that there are many other states which have been proactive in extending useful benefits and incentives to its industries, with the similar sentiments, Punjab should not be a laggard in this.

Followed by an open house discussion many issues were raised and consequently addressed by the State. It was conveyed that to make Punjab a global business arena, a synergy between the Government and the Industry is imperative. Eventually, a formal representation was done on key policy issues and a comprehensive document on the same was handed over to the State.

Adding on, Mr Ambrish Jain closed the session by extending customary vote of thanks to the representatives and the panelists.
