CHANDIGARH,07.09.22-Sh. Navdeep Sood, age 55, working as Assistant General Manager in State Bank of India, LHO , Chandigarh Circle hosted India's tricolor at 23300 feet high Mt Satopanth on 26th Aug 2022.

Mr Sood defied age when he summitted Mt Satopanth at 7075 meters at 1.38 pm on 26/08/2022.

There were 5 members in this expedition who scaled Mt Satopanth, the highest peak in Gharwal Himalayas and known for its technical challenges. They also call it a pre Everest peak due to its technical difficulties. The temperature at the top is -35 degree and oxygen level is only 40%. This explains the level of difficulties while scaling the Satopanth peak.

Before this summit, Sh Sood has already scaled Mt Rudugaira (6000 meters), Mt Yunam (5900 meters) .
