Chandigarh March 17, 2024-The Centre for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (CSDE) at Panjab University, in collaboration with the University Business School, celebrates the triumphant conclusion of its pioneering 30-hour RUSA-sponsored Skill Enhancement Course in 'AI-Driven Social Media Marketing.' Launched on March 1, 2024, this course has set a new benchmark in education for the digital era, focusing on the omnipresent influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in our lives and business world.
The course, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from 32 individuals, represents a pivotal achievement in equipping the workforce of the future with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive in an AI-dominated digital landscape. The meticulously designed curriculum offered participants an immersive experience in AI applications for social media marketing, including innovative content creation, strategic campaign design, and the development of chatbots.
The valedictory ceremony was honored by the presence of notable dignitaries such as Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, DCDC at Panjab University, who graced the event as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Jasdeep Singh, the Director of CII Chandigarh, who served as the keynote speaker. Prof. Suveera Gill, the Honorary Director of CSDE, and Prof. Parmjit Kaur, Chairperson of the department, also graced the event, emphasizing the critical importance of integrating AI into academic programs to better prepare students for imminent technological shifts and opportunities.
Prof. Tejinderpal Singh, the Course Coordinator, highlighted the hands-on approach adopted during the course, ensuring that participants could directly apply AI tools and concepts in real-world social media marketing scenarios.
