Chandigarh, 19 October 2024: Enchante’24, the much-awaited Diwali celebration, dazzled the Tricity with a glamorous flair and festive cheer. The fete was organised by the Bhavan Old Students Society (BOSS) at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27. This spectacular festivity was conceptualized with the aim to provide a holistic learning experience, extending beyond academics and nurturing students' overall development.

The Fete commenced with the Ribbon-cutting Ceremony by Shri RK Saboo, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chandigarh Kendra. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of guests, including school dignitaries: Mrs Vineeta Arora, Senior Principal, Mrs Inderpreet Kaur, Principal, New Chandigarh, Mrs Kunika Sharma, Junior School Principal, Mrs Suparna Bansal, Vice Principal and Mr Keshav Garg, President, BOSS. The esteemed guests visited the game stalls, commending the creativity of student entrepreneurs.

In his address, Chairman Shri RK Saboo praised the event, expressing his pride in the students’ creativity and passion. He noted that the fete is a reflection of the school’s dedication to nurturing talent and celebrating culture. Senior Principal, Mrs Vineeta Arora congratulated the students for orchestrating such a memorable event, emphasising that it serves as an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their talents and excel in their abilities.

The visitors were delighted with an array of mouth-watering food options from Domino’s, Gianis, Milkshake and Co., Krispiano, Chennai Maratha, Wah ji Wah and Chili Chatkara. The event was sponsored by Adley Pharmaceuticals, Axiom Controls pvt. Ltd. and Radio Partner 92.7 BIG FM. The School bustled with lively game stalls, which brought a wave of excitement, while engaging activities like the Request Stall added to the festivities.

A special highlights of the day were the live concert by Band Jazeera, Stand-up comedy show by Rajiv Goldy and Magic Show by renowned Magician Wilson. Students of Bhavan Vidyalaya also performed, captivating the audience with their talent and leaving the crowd energised and inspired.

A Treasure Hunt made the day even more unforgettable for the students, who eagerly participated in the chase for hidden surprises. For the younger crowd, a dedicated kids’ area provided fun and entertainment, allowing parents to immerse themselves in the games and relive their own childhood memories. Students enjoyed the chance to bond with friends, making memories that would last a lifetime.
