CHANDIGARH, 09.11.24 : Inner Wheel Chandigarh City Beautiful organised a sports meet to promote sports at Maharishi Dayanand Public School, MDAV Bhavan, Daria Chandigarh. Rachna, Anushka and Kajal got first, second and third place respectively under Spider Walk Race. Nancy got first, Anjali got second and Neha got third place in Lemon Spoon Race. Priyanshu Mishra got first, Kuldeep got second and Rahul Batra got third place in One Leg Race. After the completion of the sports meet, the winners were rewarded with cash by Inner Wheel City Beautiful.
Anita Midda, President of Inner Wheel Chandigarh City Beautiful said that in this digital age, children spend most of their time on mobile or other gadgets. They are not able to pay much attention to their health. Therefore, a sports meet was organised to make them mentally and physically healthy. In future also, such events will be organised from time to time. The objective of Inner Wheel Chandigarh City Beautiful is to keep working for the upliftment of children from rural areas.
