Ludhiana 18 January 2025-Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) sponsored 21 Days Training Programme of Animal Reproduction on “Innovative strategies in diagnostics and therapeutics in theriogenology” started at the Centre of Advanced Faculty Training, Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. 28 participants from 10 states, working in different State Veterinary and Agricultural Universities, ICAR Institutes and KVKs were selected for this programme.
Dr. M Honparkhe, HoD, Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics and Director of the training informed that this advanced training program is aimed to provide knowledge and hands-on practice in various reproductive technologies through lectures, practicals and demonstrations viz. colour doppler ultrasonography, trans-vaginal ultrasound guided ovum-pick up, embryo flushing, cytobrush technique and fetotomy procedures to update scientific knowledge and impart hands-on training in the field of animal reproduction.
