Chandigarh 07.02.2025:As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the State Bank of India (SBI) Chandigarh Circle has extended vital support to the armed forces by providing essential logistical and welfare equipments across it’s operational regions, which include Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Chandigarh. General Manager of SBI, Shri. Manoranjan Panda and Major General Arvind Kapoor (Retd), Circle Defence Banking Advisor graced the occasion with their presence.

To enhance mobility and logistics for troops, two e-rickshaws have been given thus ensuring seamless transportation and operational efficiency in their daily activities. Additionally, SBI has contributed six large-capacity water heating devices to ensure hot water supply during the harsh winter conditions. These initiatives underscore SBI’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the Nation’s armed forces.

Expressing appreciation for this initiative, senior defence officials acknowledged SBI’s continued efforts in supporting those who serve the nation.
