MUMBAI, March 5, 2025 - Apollo Tyres Foundation (ATF) recognized eight exceptional women entrepreneurs from Project Navya, highlighting their transformative community impact. The event, held in collaboration with the French Institute in India, was honored by H.E. Dr Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, and Onkar Kanwar, Chairman of Apollo Tyres Ltd.

The celebrated women from various states have empowered their communities through diverse initiatives including vegetable cultivation, dairy cooperatives, tailoring, milk production, and waste management. Each entrepreneur has overcome significant personal challenges to support 20-400 women in their respective regions.

"Apollo Tyres Foundation has worked towards uplifting over 24,000 rural women as of December 2024, helping them gain access to government-supported livelihood schemes and enabling them to dramatically change their economic landscapes," said Onkar Kanwar, emphasizing the company's commitment to community empowerment.
