Chandigarh:19.03.25- The Chandigarh Beopar Mandal (CBM) organized a large-scale blood donation camp today in Sector 17 on the occasion of its Founder's Day. The camp was inaugurated by Inder Lal Batra’s wife, the late founder of CBM. CBM President Sanjeev Chaddha, along with founding members Charanjeev Singh, Purushottam Mahajan, and Bhimsen Garg, were also present at the event. The chief guest of the program was Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla, who distributed certificates to the blood donors and honored the founding members as well as the family of the late Inder Lal Batra. A total of 109 units of blood were collected during the camp.
CBM Vice President and official spokesperson Diwakar Sahunja stated that the Mayor appreciated the role of CBM in ensuring the welfare of the business community and maintaining unity among traders. Other prominent attendees included CBM's chief patron Satpal Gupta, current Vice President Diwakar Sahunja, former President Jagdish Arora, Gurcharan Sahni (son of CBM’s founding President, the late Joginder Singh Sahni), former mayors Ravikant and Anup Gupta, ward councilors Saurabh Joshi and Sunil Miglani, and industrial sector representative Surinder Gupta.
