Chandigarh, April 12 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini today participated as the chief guest in the Pran Pratishtha and Unveiling Programme of 31-feet high Panchmukhi Hanuman Ji at SRM College Campus, village Bhurewala, in Ambala district on the occasion of Shri Hanuman Janmotsav. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated and wished everyone on Hanuman Janmotsav and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.
He said today is a day of pride and glory for all of us. We all know that Hanuman Ji selflessly served Lord Shri Ram as a servant. When Laxman fell unconscious during the battle between Laxman and Meghnath, at that time Hanuman Ji brought Sanjivani booti and gave him life.
He said for years, there was a legal dispute going on in Ayodhya regarding Ram Janmabhoomi, which was resolved through legal process and under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, a grand and divine temple of Lord Shri Ram was built in Ayodhya, which is a matter of pride and glory for all of us. He said religion and politics are synonymous with each other. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, religious places are being renovated while preserving our ancient culture and heritage.
The Chief Minister said in the last 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the government has worked to restore our ancient culture and heritage which is disappearing. The corridor of Lord Kashi Vishwanath, Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor in Ujjain, crores of people taking a holy dip in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, renovation of Shri Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand and opening of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor in Pakistan are prominent. Similarly, the Haryana Government has also renovated many pilgrimage sites on the holy land of Kurukshetra, where Lord Shri Krishna gave the message of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.
He said the present government is continuously working in accordance with the vision of great men and following the path shown by them, keeping in mind the welfare of the poor. Under the Ayushman Card Scheme, the needy people have been provided the facility of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. In Haryana also, under the Ayushman/Chirayu Card Scheme, about 20 lakh people have been given the benefit and an amount of Rs 2200 crore has been spent under the scheme.
He said under the leadership of the Prime Minister, work has been done to provide housing facilities to 4 crore people in the country. At the same time, in Haryana also, work is being done to identify the needy persons and provide housing facilities as per the scheme.
The Chief Minister said on the occasion of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary, the Prime Minister is coming to Hisar and Yamunanagar on April 14 and he will give a big gift to Haryana on this occasion. These include the launch of air services from Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar and laying the foundation stone of the 800 MW super critical unit in Yamunanagar. He invited everyone to attend the Prime Minister's visit to Haryana and called upon them to reach in maximum numbers.
He said the Prime Minister has a vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, and we have to contribute to that vision by developing Haryana.
The Chief Minister also visited the Namo Ayurveda Hospital and Wellness Centre built in the college. The Chief Minister honoured sculptor Sant Kumar, who made the statue of Shri Hanuman ji, by giving him a memento.
During the programme, the organizer and world famous bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal also congratulated everyone on Hanuman Janmotsav. Former Assembly Speaker Sh. Gian Chand Gupta and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Grand start of 800 MW Thermal Power Plant in Yamunanagar
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for 800 MW modern thermal power unit of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) in Yamunanagar. This third unit, spread across 233 acres, involves an investment of Rs 8,469 crore. Scheduled to be completed within 52 months, the project is expected to commence commercial operations by March 2029. Once operational, it will significantly boost Haryana's energy self-sufficiency and ensure uninterrupted power supply for industries across the state.
Compressed Biogas Plant Yamunanagar
Driven by the Prime Minister’s visionary ‘Gobardhan Mission’, Haryana continues to make strides in cleanliness, sustainability, and energy self-reliance. In line with this mission, the foundation stone of a Compressed Biogas Plant will be laid in Mukarbpur, within the Yamunanagar-Jagadhari Municipal Corporation area. Developed in collaboration with BPCL at a cost of Rs 90 crore, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 2,600 metric tonnes and is slated for completion by 2027. This initiative will help in effective organic waste management while contributing to clean energy production and environmental conservation.
Hisar Airport to Strengthen Regional Connectivity
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate air services from Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar. In a moment of pride, he will flag off the first flight to Ayodhya. With scheduled flights from Hisar to Ayodhya (twice weekly), three flights in a week to Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh, this development marks a significant leap in Haryana’s aviation connectivity. Additionally, the foundation stone for Phase II of the airport will be laid on the same day. This Rs 413 crore phase, targeted for completion by April 17, 2027, will include a state-of-the-art passenger terminal (37,790 sq. meters), a cargo terminal (2,235 sq. meters), and an ATC building, transforming Hisar into a major hub for trade and transport.
Rewari Bypass: Smoother Travel and Economic Boost
The successful implementation of Rewari Bypass project has been completed as an important link of concrete steps being taken by the state government to ensure the all-round development of the state and modern transport system. Spanning 14.4 km and built at a cost of Rs 1,069.42 crore under the Bharatmala Pariyojana via hybrid annuity mode, the bypass is now fully operational. It will decongest Rewari city, reduce Delhi–Narnaul travel time by one hour, and boost economic and social activity in the region. This is yet another milestone in the country’s rapidly evolving infrastructure under the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership.

Officials must ensure safety of farmers' crops in mandis: CM Nayab Singh Saini
Chandigarh, April 12 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has said that if mustard or wheat crop of a farmer gets wet in any grain market, then strict action will be taken against the officials of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board.
The Chief Minister, taking cognizance of the news related to the wetting of crops of farmers in the grain markets of Nathusari Chopta, Sirsa and Narnaund published in some newspapers, said that when the crop of the farmer reaches the market, then it becomes the responsibility of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board to ensure the protection of the crop from rain etc. Taking seriously the matter of wetting of mustard and wheat crops in these mandis, he said that strict action will be taken against the officer and employee found guilty for this. He directed that action should be taken against the accused in this case and the Chief Minister should be informed by April 15 about what steps officers are taking to resolve this matter.
He instructed the departmental officers to keep an eye on the weather and make advance preparations for the safety of the crops coming to the market so that the farmers do not suffer any kind of loss.

Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said the state government is committed to the development of Haryana. He further said that the state government is working to improve basic facilities in rural areas. Cremation grounds will be constructed outside every village, and roads leading to them will be paved. Electricity and water facilities will also be ensured there. Besides this, the government is working on beautifying all ponds in Haryana.

The Chief Minister congratulated the devotees on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti and said that today is a day of great pride. Thousands of dental experts gather at SGT University, Gurugram for National Convention
Chandigarh, April 12 – Haryana Industry and Commerce, Environment, Forest and Wild Life Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that environmental pollution has become a serious problem not just for Gurugram but for the entire country. The government alone cannot control pollution; it needs the active participation of the public as well.
Rao Narbir was addressing dental experts and students from across India as the Chief Guest at the 27th PG Convention of the Indian Prosthodontic Society (IPS) held at the SGT University in Gurugram on Saturday. He congratulated the organising committee and all the participants, and encouraged students to make the most of the academic opportunities at the convention.
During his address, he appealed to the youth and the general public to take two important pledges for environmental protection: first, stop using polythene; and second, avoid sending wedding cards as thousands of trees have to be cut to make such cards. He said that plastic bags take around 400 years to decompose. If burnt, they harm oxygen in the air; if dumped in the ground, they stay for centuries and block sewage systems. Further citing Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi's campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," the Minister said that everyone should plant at least one tree for themselves and one for future generations.
He appreciated SGT University for its efforts in environmental conservation. He also congratulated SGT University and dental experts from all over the country for the convention of Indian Prosthodontic Society (IPS).

Chandigarh, April 12- Managing Director of Hafed, Sh Mukul Kumar, has stated that strict action will be taken against officers and employees found negligent in wheat procurement process. He emphasized that the top priority for officials must be to ensure that farmers face no difficulties while selling their crops in the markets, and that procurement is carried out at the price fixed by the government .
While directing officials, Sh Mukul Kumar stressed the importance of timely lifting of the procured wheat to avoid inconvenience to farmers. He said that this season special instructions have been issued to ensure that both traders and farmers do not encounter any problems during the procurement process. He assured that extensive and proper arrangements have been made to purchase every grain of the farmers’ produce.
On Saturday, the Managing Director Sh Mukul Kumar visited the grain markets of Kurukshetra and Pipli to review the wheat procurement and lifting facilities. During the visit, he interacted with Arhtiyas and farmers to gather firsthand information regarding the ongoing operations. He also provided necessary directives to the officials on site.
Upon his arrival at the markets, he first inspected the gate pass system and gave instructions to the officials to maintain proper procedures. He then reviewed the crop procurement process, instructing officials to ensure smooth operations, transparency in the issuance of gate passes, and the arrangement of essential facilities such as clean drinking water, sanitation, and timely crop lifting.
Sh Mukul Kumar further stated that Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini has issued clear directives that there should be no lapses in wheat procurement and lifting. "Any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated. The government is committed to purchasing every grain of the farmers' produce ," he affirmed.

The drug-free Haryana campaign received huge public support in Gurugram. Minister Rao Narbir Singh also rode a bicycle himself to motivate the youth to participate in building a drug-free Haryana.
While addressing the people of the district, Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that this campaign has created a wave against drug abuse in the state, with Gurugram playing an important role in it. To help India become a global leader, the youth must stand against drug abuse. Admissions to be taken through ‘Ujwal Portal’
Chandigarh, April 12 – Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said that all private recognised schools in the state must follow the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education, Right to Education (RTE) Act this year. All schools are now required to accept student applications only through the newly launched ‘Ujwal Portal,’ developed by the School Education Department to ensure transparency in the admission process.
Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said that in compliance with the RTE Act 2009, all private recognized schools will have to reserve 25 percent seats for class 1st/pre-primary classes for children from disadvantaged and economically weaker sections under the said Act.
He said that all schools have been informed to accurately declare the number of seats available in class 1st/pre-primary classes in their schools. Whether the school had previously shown the 25 percent seat declaration information or not, they must now accept applications through the ‘Ujwal Portal’. Parents can apply online for schools within a 1-kilometer radius of their residence. If a recognised private school receives online admission forms for more than 25 percent seats, a draw will be conducted in the presence of the district level committee/parents. Schools are also required to follow all updated rules under the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009. Besides this, parents will have to submit all required documents related to their child’s admission directly to the school. The concerned district level committee will be responsible for any kind of litigation.
Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson said that under the rule 2 (1) (F) of Haryana Right to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011 is as follows for giving admission to children of the following categories by recognized schools. Children of families falling under the latest list of 'below poverty line' from both rural and urban areas issued and approved by the Haryana government will be eligible for the scheme. Besides this, HIV affected children, children with special needs and children of widows are also included in the scheme.
Applications under Section 12(1)(c) of the RTE Act, 2009, can be submitted from April 15 to April 21, 2025. The last date for admission of beneficiaries is April 25, 2025. If any seats remain vacant, students from the waiting list will be admitted between April 26 and May 1, 2025.
If any discrepancy is found in any type of documents submitted by parents and the details filled on the portal, the district-level committee will take the final decision, and the admission of the child can be cancelled.
