Chandigarh, April 12, 2025: Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya has extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state, Punjab and the global Punjabi diaspora on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.

In his message, Shri Dattatraya said: “Baishakhi marks the beginning of the harvest season and holds special significance as a festival of gratitude, joy, and community spirit. It also commemorates the formation of the Khalsa Panth by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a momentous event in Sikh history that continues to inspire courage, equality, and service.”

The Governor further said that festivals like Baishakhi reflect the vibrant cultural heritage and unity of our people. He expressed confidence that the festival would strengthen the bonds of harmony, peace, and brotherhood among all communities.

Shri Dattatraya also conveyed his best wishes to farmers, saying that Baishakhi is a celebration of their hard work and dedication. Wishing prosperity, happiness, and good health to all, Governor Shri Dattatraya urged everyone to uphold the values of compassion, inclusiveness, and mutual respect, which are at the heart of India’s composite culture.
