ZIRAKPUR, 26.04.25-Under the able guidance of the Founders and Directors, Dr. Annie Charles Samuel and Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel, the ‘81st Blood Donation camp’ was successfully organized by the Shivanand Choubey Memorial Trust at Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur. This remarkable initiative aimed to promote voluntary Blood Donation and foster a spirit of community welfare.

The event was graced by eminent dignitaries Mr. Dinesh Uniyal, I.G.P., North-West Sector, C.R.P.F., Chandigarh, as the Chief Guest and Mrs. Jyoti Virdi MD JK Infra and Management Services also graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

The Founders and Directors, Dr. Annie Charles Samuel and Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel, were felicitated with the prestigious ‘Beacons of Knowledge Award’ by Sivanand Choubey Memorial Trust—for their remarkable contribution in the field of education and social service

The camp was conducted by the experienced team from PGI Chandigarh, ensuring all safety and hygiene protocols were strictly followed. Donors were felicitated with certificates and mementos.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, staff, and local citizens, all of whom came forward to contribute to this life-saving cause. More than 106 units of blood were donated marking a significant contribution to the community's health care needs.

Principal Mrs. Rashmi Ivy Rafi was honored with the Exemplary Leadership Award for her outstanding dedication and visionary leadership in guiding the school’s holistic mission. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, the Shivanand Choubey Memorial Trust, volunteers and medical staff for their invaluable contributions. She reaffirmed the school’s commitment to holistic education—nurturing not only the intellect but also the spirit of compassion.
