CHANDIGARH, 30.04.25-The Core Committee of Residents Welfare Association MHC Sector-13 Chandigarh, comprising President Colonel Gursewak Singh, General Secretary SA Qureshi, and Secretary PR Paramjit Thakur, met with Chief Secretary Shri Rajeev Verma in his office today.

The President thanked the Chief Secretary for resolving certain issues discussed in their last meeting on 14 April 2024. The following pending issues were discussed in the fresh memorandum:

1. Provision of lifts in flats
2. Full implications of the notification regarding renaming Manimajra as Sector-13
3. Short link road to divert Panchkula-bound traffic and reduce traffic density in MHC
4. Development of a green belt with a walking track in available government land opposite Uppal Marble Society
5. Revamping of MHC market

The Chief Secretary was extremely receptive and assured the delegation of prompt action on all the said issues.
