Theft
A case FIR No. 52 u/s 303(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajdeep Singh R/o #506, Sector-33B, Chandigarh, against an unknown person, who stole two outdoor AC units from SCO No. 825-826, Sector-22A, Chandigarh on 18-04-2026. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Abetment to Suicide
A case FIR No. 58 u/s 108, 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Anish Khatak R/o #2001/5, Sector-32C, Chandigarh, against Satish Nagar and Prem Bishat, who allegedly abetted the suicide of the complainant’s father Raj Kumar, who consumed an unknown substance and later expired during treatment at GMCH-32. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident (Fatal)
A case FIR No. 64 u/s 281, 125(A), 106(1) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady Resident of Behlolpur, Mohali (PB) regarding an accident involving motorcycle No. UP-11CN-8765 driven by Parveen Kumar S/o Janardhan R/o #4591, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh and another motorcycle No. HR-85H-3952 driven by Mandeep S/o Roop Chand R/o Ambala (HR) near Sector 39/40/55/56 Chowk on 01-05-2026 at about 10:00 AM. The victim sustained injuries and was declared brought dead GH-16. The accused has been arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
