Chandigarh, August 3:- Chandigarh Mayor Sh. Saurabh Joshi today laid the foundation stone for development work of paver blocks in Village Mauli Jagran in the presence of area Councillor Sh. Harjit Singh, Municipal Corporation officials and local residents.

Addressing the gathering, Mayor Sh. Saurabh Joshi said that the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is committed to strengthening civic infrastructure and providing better public amenities across the city. He stated that the paver block work in Village Mauli Jagran will improve the condition of internal streets, ensure smoother and safer movement for residents and enhance the overall civic environment of the area.

The Mayor said that the Municipal Corporation is carrying out development works in all parts of the city based on the needs and aspirations of the people. He reiterated that public welfare and infrastructure development remain among the Corporation's top priorities and assured residents that such works will continue to be undertaken in the future.

Area Councillor Sh. Harjit Singh thanked the Mayor and the Municipal Corporation for initiating the development work. He said that the project would greatly benefit the residents of Village Mauli Jagran by improving road infrastructure and public convenience.

Residents appreciated the initiative and expressed their gratitude to the Municipal Corporation for taking up the work. Senior officers of the Municipal Corporation were also present on the occasion.
