Chandigarh, 4 September: Department of Fine Arts at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised a two-day Talent Hunt Art Competition, providing students with an engaging platform to showcase their creativity, imagination and artistic skills.
A total of 56 students participated enthusiastically in eight categories- Cartooning, Landscape Painting, Poster Making, Clay Modelling, Collage Making, Still Life, Installation, and Mitti de Khidone. The competition witnessed an impressive display of artistic expression, with students exploring diverse themes and techniques across the various categories. The event not only encouraged creative talent but also provided students an opportunity to express their ideas through visual art.
Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma appreciated the students for their creativity and commended their artistic talent. She encouraged the participants to continue nurturing their passion for the arts and congratulated the Department of Fine Arts for successfully organising the event.
