Shimla, 04.09.26-: Delhi Public School, Shimla celebrated the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami with devotion, enthusiasm and vibrant cultural performances. The celebration brought together students in a beautiful expression of faith, creativity and the timeless message of Lord Krishna.
The programme commenced with the young learners of UKG offering a heartfelt prayer. Their innocent voices filled the school corridors with an atmosphere of reverence and devotion. The little ones then presented a lively and graceful dance performance, beautifully capturing the innocence, charm and playful spirit of Bal Krishna.
Students of Classes I, II and III further enriched the celebration with an engaging skit portraying the divine birth of Lord Krishna and the significance of Janmashtami. Through confident performances and sincere expressions, the young actors brought the sacred narrative to life, highlighting the enduring values of hope, righteousness and the triumph of good over evil.
Headmistress Ms Veena Chauhan appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, saying, “This heartfelt celebration beautifully blended devotion, creativity and tradition.
