CHANDIGARH, 04.09.24-Panjab University is thrilled to announce the official launch of the Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival by Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig. The festival, which will be held from October 21 to 24, 2024 in the premises of the Panjab University campus, promises to be a vibrant celebration of youth, culture, and heritage.

Prof. Vig extended a warm invitation to all students, faculty, and members of the community to actively participate in the festival and make it a grand success.

During the launch, Prof. Amit Chauhan, DSW emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting cultural traditions among the younger generation. He highlighted that the last Zonal festival (Chandigarh region) was hosted by the Panjab University in 2011. This year the number 26 colleges will be participating in Zone 1.

The festival will feature competitions in traditional dance, music, theater, and folk art, alongside workshops and seminars aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of cultural heritage. Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn, share, and connect with their roots.
