CHANDIGARH,-13.07.2024-In another breakthrough Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh achieved success by arresting the accused Rahul @ Lohri S/o Rishi Pal R/o H. No 1331,Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 31 yrs and solved recently registered case FIR No. 135 dated 11.07.2024 U/s 305 BNS added 312 (2) BNS of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh. As per directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Jaswinder Singh, SDPO/South a team of officials of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh was constituted.

brief facts:-

Present case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/o Late Sh. Mangal Ram R/o H. No 847, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh in which he stated that he is serving as pujari at Gugamari Mandir, Near 3 BRD, Chandigarh. On 05.07.2024 he found that donation box of Mandir was missing. They search in the premises of Mandir but could not found. Someone unknown person stolen has donation box.

Arrest of accused:-

On receipt of secret information, a special team was constituted by SHO-31 comprising SI Gurwinder Singh, I/C PP-Hallomajra, ASI Dilbag Singh, Ct Hans Ram 4891/CP, Ct Deepak 6203/CP. They conducted a raid and one accused Rahul @ Lohri S/o Rishi Pal R/o H. No 1331, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 31 yrs was arrested and stolen donation box of Mandir has been recovered from his possession. During the interrogation he disclosed that he had committed many thefts in Ramdarbar & Hallomajra and get recovered the 15 gas cylinders (make 14 cylinder Indane and 01 HP) and one cycle on his identification.

Today i.e. on 13.07.2024 accused Rahul @ Lohri has produced before the Hon’ble Court and same was sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is in progress.
