CHANDIGARH, 15.07.24-The Residents Welfare Association, MHC Sector-13 Chandigarh celebrated its Annual day with great enthusiasm on 14th July 2024 in Auditorium of Gurukul Global School, Sector-13 Chandigarh. Mr Manish Tewari, Member of Parliament Chandigarh was the Chief Guest and Mr Baljinder Singh Bittu, Chairman FOSWAC, was the Guest of honour. Other dignitaries include Mr. Parveen Setya , MD President of Gurukul Global School , local SHO Inspecter Ram Dayal and Presidents of various residential societies and senior citizens welfare Association.

In his address, President Colonel Gursewak Singh (Veteran ), highlighted the various civic issues like, low pressure of water supply and dirty water in the taps, inundating of garage area during monsoons, traffic and parking problems, issues related to CHB. Further, he requested the MP to prevail upon the Administration to full fill RWA’s pending demand of sports ground, central parking system and face lift of the MHC market.

In the felicitation ceremony, journalist Man Mohan Khanna and Jagdeep Sharma were honoured for their services in the field of Jounalism. Mr SA Qureshi, General Secretary was awarded for his selfless and distinghuiss services for the RWA. Ms Mandeep Kaur was honoured for her dedicated services for the RWA.

On this occasion, RWA Newslatter was released and also running trophies were given to the winners of the park competition.
