Chandigarh, 15 July 2024 — Bhavan’s Old Students’ Society (BOSS) successfully conducted the 31st Annual Blood Donation Camp in partnership with Peddlers, Sector 35, Chandigarh on July 12, 2024. Blood Bank, PGIMER assisted in the effective execution of the camp. The event was organised by Senior Member, BOSS, Mr Vipul Dua and President, BOSS, Mr Keshav Garg.
A significant turnout of donors marked the event, with numerous individuals stepping forward to contribute towards the noble cause. Principal, New Chandigarh, Ms Inderpreet Kaur, Principal, Junior School, Mrs Kunika Sharma, Vice Principal, Senior School, Mrs Suparna Bansal, and former President, BOSS, Ms Richa Gupta also graced the event.
The camp saw a collection of about 90 units of blood. It aims to maintain a steady supply of blood for patients suffering from thalassemia. All donors were provided with refreshments. In addition to this, BOSS has consistently conducted various drives and other philanthropic initiatives, demonstrating its commitment to giving back to the society.
