Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 76, U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector-56, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated Rs. 8,70,000/- online from complainant regarding investment in stock market between 21.01.2024 to 28.02.2024. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 76, U/S 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Navraj Singh R/o Shri Ganga Nagar, Rajasthan who alleged that Aman & others of M/s AVM Global Sco. No. 143-144, Sector-9, Chandigarh cheated complainant of Rs. 11,65,000/- on the pretext of arranging study visa to Australia between 01.02.2023 to 30.06.2024. A case FIR No. 78, U/S 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ashish Sharma R/o Mojowal, Nangal, Punjab who alleged that Jai Karan Joshi and other of M/s Golden Overseas, SCO No. 54-55, 2^ND floor, Sector-9, Chandigarh cheated complainant of Rs. 8 lakh on pretext of sending him abroad between 21.03.2024 to 30.06.2024. A case FIR No. 117, U/S 304, 3(5) BNS has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Maya Garden, Zirakpur, PB who reported that two unknown persons on a motorcycle snatched away mobile phone in front Rama properties, Sector-44, Chandigarh on 16.07.2024. A case FIR No. 77, U/S 281, 324(4), 324(5) BNS has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the statement of Harpreet Singh R/o # 54, Shivalik Vihar, Naya Goan, Mohali, PB against driver of car No. CH01CU 0365 namely Kanwarpreet Singh R/o H.No. 235, PEC, Sector-12, Chandigarh hit complainant’s car No. CH-01BA-0556 near Golf turn, Vigyan Path, Sector-6, Chandigarh on 16-07-2024. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 81, U/S 125(a), 281 BNS has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Param Singh R/o H.No. 551, Sector 12, Panchkula, HR against driver of unknown car which sped away after hitting a person on bicycle near Golf club kishangarh road, near St. Kabir light point, Chandigarh on 15-07-2024. The victim sustained injuries and admitted to hospital in unconscious condition. Investigation of the case is in progress.
