CHANDIGARH, 19.07.24-On 17.07.2024, following the direction of Senior Officer, teams of Operations Cell Sector-26 Chandigarh are on High Alert. A team under the directions of Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP/Operations & under the supervision of Sh. P. Abinandhan, DSP Operations and the leadership of In-charge, Operations Cell Inspector Sher Singh succeeded in arrest of two snatcher namely Anil Kumar S/o OM Parkash R/o # 2602 Sector-56 age 21 years and Jasbir Sigh S/o Rakesh R/o # 2812 Sector-56 Age 21 years and snatched mobile phone as well as motor cycle used in crime has been recovered from their possession.

The above mentioned case was registered on the complaint of Tannu Dutta W/O Harsh Dutta R/O House No. L502, Maya Garden Phase 3 Ext Zirakpur 140603, Mohali., in which she complained that on 16.07.2024 her mobile phone has been snatched by unknown persons on motor cycle from near Rama properties sector 44 Chandigarh.

Yesterday, on 17.07.2024, Team of ASI Durjan Singh 2995/CP Sr. Ct. Hanuman 360/CP, Ct. Vinod 1650/CP apprehended the accused namely Anil Kumar S/o Om Parkash R/o # 2602 Sector-56 age 21 years and Jasbir Sigh S/o Rakesh R/o # 2812 Sector-56 Age 21 years from near sports complex corner sector 56 Chandigarh. The snatched mobile phone make (One Plus colour sky blue) and motor cycle used in snatching have been recovered from their possession. Thereafter they have been arrested in this case.
