Violation of DM orders
A Case No. FIR 131 U/S 223 BNS has been registered at Police Station 11 on complaint of ASI Dilbag Singh who reported that Rajesh Chauhan, President of the Contract-Based Employee Union at PGI, along with Sukhdev and other union leaders, led a protest against the PGI administration. The protest defied the DM's order (No. DM/UT/MA/2024/24048, dated 28.08.2024) prohibiting rallies, dharnas, and protests.
Accident
A Case No. FIR 112 U/S 281, 125A, BNS has been registered at Police Station 26 on the complaint of Pramod Sah and his wife Rani who reported that they were injured after a black Bullet motorcycle (CH-01BH-5807) hit their bicycle at Sant Kabir Light Point, Sector 26, on October 12 around 6:15 PM. The rider fled the scene, and the injured were admitted to GMCH-32. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Assault
A Case No. 205 U/S 115, 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station 31 on the complaint of Balwinder Singh and his brother Rajinder Kumar, along with Rajinder's son Aakash, who reported that they were injured after being attacked by Rakesh Rana, Sher Singh alias Setty, and 5-6 others. During the investigation, accused Rakesh Rana and Sher Singh were arrested but later released on bail.
