Job fairs and campus interviews to be held across the state starting today

A target to provide employment to 10,000 youth, Opportunities available in nearly 200 industrial units

Chandigarh, October 15– In a bid to boost employment opportunities for skilled youth in Haryana, a series of Job fairs and campus interviews will be organised by Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state from October 16 to 29. The Job fairs and interviews are likely to offer a prime opportunity for ITI pass-outs to connect with nearly 200 industries, with the goal of securing employment for 10,000 young individuals.

Divulging more details in this regard, a spokesperson of the Skill Development and Industrial Training department shared that approximately 200 industrial units will be present at these Job fairs to offer employment opportunities to the participants. Principals/Group Instructors in charge of all government ITIs have been directed to coordinate with as many industrial units as possible to organise maximum Job fairs and campus interviews.

The Spokesperson shared that Haryana domicile candidates should be entertained in the job fairs /campus interviews and records will be maintained for all ITI pass-outs who are selected.

The Spokesperson shared that from October 16 to 29, the Job fairs and campus interviews will be held in the districts of Bhiwani, Hisar, Jhajjar, Karnal, Nuh, Mahendragarh, Rohtak, Rewari, and Sonipat. Similarly, from October 18 to 29, the Job fairs and interviews will be held in Ambala, Faridabad, Jind, Panipat and Sirsa while in Kaithal Job fairs and interviews will be held from October 18 to 29.

Besides this, Job fairs/ campus interviews will be held in Charkhi Dadri on October 16, 21, 22, 24, and 29 and on October 18, 21, 22, 24, and 28 in Kurukshetra, on October 18, 22, 24, 28, and 29 in Palwal, on October 18, 23, 25, and 29 in Panchkula, on October 18, 22, 23, 25, 28, and 29 in Yamunanagar and on October 16, 18, 22, 24, and 28 in Fatehabad and on October 18, 21, 23, 25, and 29 in Gurugram.

Dr. L.C. Ranga Unanimously Elected as New Chairman of Haryana Veterinary Council

Chandigarh, October 15 – Director General, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Haryana, Dr. L.C. Ranga has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of Haryana Veterinary Council during a meeting convened by the Council.

Giving information in this regard, a spokesperson of the Council said that Haryana Veterinary Council comprises four elected members, three nominated members, and three ex-officio members. The current elected members include Dr. Sukhdev Rathi, Dr. Rajiv Bangar, Dr. Shekhar Yadav, and Dr. Vivek. The government nominated members are Dr. Satendra Bharti, Dr. Monika, and Dr. Rajesh Malik. The ex-officio members include Dr. L.C. Ranga, Dr. Gulshan Narang (Dean of LUVAS), and Dr. Sudesh Kumar (Registrar of the Haryana Veterinary Council).

The primary function of the Haryana Veterinary Council is to register veterinarians in the state and maintain their registration records. Additionally, the Council regulates the veterinary profession, playing a crucial role in establishing high ethical standards within the field. To ensure the quality of veterinary services in the state, the Council also provides ongoing technical training for registered veterinarians.
