Bathinda, February 8-Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, hosted the highly anticipated Alumni Meet 2025 under the theme "Relive, Reconnect, Rejoice... A Trip to Nostalgia."
The MRSPTU Alumni Association (MAA) played a pivotal role in organizing the event, ensuring an enriching experience filled with nostalgia, mentorship, and engagement. The Alumni Meet 2025 proved to be a remarkable gathering, strengthening the bond between past and present, and setting the stage for greater alumni involvement in MRSPTU’s growth and success.
Architect Rimpesh and Ar. Neha played special video clips featuring alumni memories especially of 1995 Batch. The event witnessed emotional moments as alumni reconnected with faculty members and peers. Many paid heartfelt tributes to their mentors, acknowledging their role in shaping their professional journeys.
Addressing the alumni, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal emphasized the crucial role of MAA in fostering alumni engagement. "Our alumni can play a transformative role in shaping the future of their alma mater by supporting students through mentorship, career opportunities, and knowledge-sharing," he said.
He acknowledged the invaluable contributions of MRSPTU graduates in Civil services in center and state, judiciary, ISRO, public sector organizations, startups, and multinational corporations. He also encouraged alumni to contribute towards industry collaborations, research initiatives, scholarships, and employment support for students.
The event's success was credited to meticulous planning led by Professor Incharge CRC, Prof. Rajesh Gupta and his team. The program was skillfully anchored by Architect Mitakshi, with key role played by Er. Gagandeep Singh Sodhi and Dr. Haramritpal Singh Sidhu.
Registrar Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar extended heartfelt congratulations, appreciating the efforts behind the seamless execution of the event.
On this occasion, VC Prof. Sandeep Kansal launched the second edition of MRSPTU's E-Magazine 'Campus Pulse', showcasing university highlights and alumni achievements.
As the evening drew to a close, an emotional call from anchor Mitakshi led to a grand celebratory dance by alumni on the beats of dhol and popular songs, marking a perfect end to a memorable day.
