SHIMLA -28 April, 2025- Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi today released the book titled 'Opportunity and Challenges of Avocado Farming in Himachal Pradesh' written by Deepak Singha, an expert in the cultivation of stone Fruit. He has written this book after doing in-depth research and a detailed study on Avocado cultivation.
Horticulture Minister praised the work of Deepak Singha and said that avocado cultivation would help strengthening the economy of the farmers in a big way. The state government will consider including avocado cultivation under Integrated Horticulture Development Mission or HP Shiva Project.
