Chandigarh/Mohali, August 22, 2026: The Punjab Government conferred a state-level honour upon the Sant Nirankari Mission for its continuous selfless service activities in the fields of human welfare and public service. During the State-Level NGO Conference held at the Municipal Bhawan in Sector 35, Chandigarh, various branches of the Mission in Punjab were honoured with shields and certificates of appreciation for their remarkable social service initiatives. The ceremony was presided over by Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh.
The Mission’s long-standing initiatives, including blood donation camps, health awareness programmes, cleanliness drives, tree plantation campaigns and other humanitarian activities, were specially appreciated. These services, undertaken with the objective of saving human lives and extending assistance to those in need, were described as an inspiration for society.
On this occasion, several Branch Sanyojaks and Sewadars from different branches across Punjab received the honour on behalf of the Mission.
Sharing the information, Chandigarh Zone Zonal Incharge Shri O.P. Nirankari Ji said that this honour is the result of the continuous humanitarian service activities being carried out by all branches of the Sant Nirankari Mission across Punjab and pan-India, with the blessings of the Present Satguru Mata Sudeeksha Ji Maharaj and under the guidance of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation. These activities include blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, tree plantation, health awareness programmes, assistance to the needy and numerous other welfare initiatives, for which the Mission has been honoured at the state level by the Punjab Government.
He said that for the Sant Nirankari Mission, serving humanity is not merely a social responsibility but an integral part of spiritual life. The Mission’s message is to work selflessly for the service and welfare of humanity.
He further stated that the immortal message of Yugdrishta Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, “Let blood flow in the veins, not in the drains,” continues to inspire devotees to participate in noble humanitarian activities such as blood donation. With this spirit, the Sant Nirankari Mission organises blood donation camps from time to time across India and abroad.
The Mission expressed its gratitude to the Punjab Government and the Health Department, while also emphasising that this honour is not the achievement of any one individual, but a recognition of the collective spirit of service of all volunteers associated with the Sant Nirankari Mission, who continuously contribute to the service of humanity without any selfish motive, discrimination or expectation.
