A case FIR No.142 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in police Station Cyber Crime Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Vinod Kumar R/o # 57 Near Surya Hotel Sector 45 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant Rs 4,72,086/- regarding download a malicious APK file from a link namely mparivahan regarding vehicle challan and got cheated. Investigation of this case is in progress.
A case FIR No.143 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in police Station Cyber Crime Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunil Kumar R/o # 122 BSNL Bhawan, Sector 17 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant Rs 6,38,815/- regarding fake Malicious Adani gas APK file for gas bill payment. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant
A Case FIR No 99 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 03 Chandigarh on the complaint of ASI Balbir Singh PS 03 Chandigarh against Kamaljit Thakur and 51 others persons who gathered unlawfully and were loudly shouting provocative slogans against the education Minister. Although senior officer warned the leader that section 163 BNSS was actively in force and the protesters willfully defied the lawful commands. The 51 listed individuals deliberately violated the district magistrate and prohibitory order. All accused were arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 135 U/S 305(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Harkirat Singh R/o # 2779 Sector 37/C Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away two gas cylinders from complainant house on 22.08.2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.
