Chandigarh-Dated: 01.10.2026-As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign – 2026, State Bank of India, Local Head Office (LHO) Chandigarh, organized a cleanliness and plantation drive under the theme “'Swachhata Main Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat" and “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” on 01.10.2026, at Sector 17, Chandigarh.

The event witnessed the active participation of Shri Amaresh Kumar Jha, Chief General Manager, Shri Manmeet Chhabra General Manager (NW-I), Shri Binod Kumar Sinha General Manager (NW-II), Shri Naveen Misra General Manager (NW-IlI), Shri Jogesh Raval, DGM and CDO, along with other dignitaries and staff members.

This cleanliness drive fostered a strong spirit of community participation and reinforced the collective responsibility towards maintaining clean and healthy surroundings. As part of the “Ek Ped Maa ke Naam” initiative, senior dignitaries also planted saplings, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment towards environmental stability and contributing to a cleaner and greener nation.
